Robert "Red" Deal

He was born on July 23, 1945 in Atkins, AR., to the late William “Skeet” Deal and Mary “Taft” King.

He served in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1971; during his service time he was granted top secret clearance, this is the highest clearance granted. He was assigned to Attack Squadron Twelve and Fleet Airwing 3 where he plotted ships.

On October 3, 1968 in Lake Carlyle, IL. he married Marcia McGehee Deal, who preceded him in death on June 12, 2018.

He worked at Dexter Ready Mix until his retirement.

He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tammie Motta of Jackson, MO., Donna (Ray) McGuire of Dexter, MO. and Nena (Dennis) Shade of Jackson, MO.; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by two children, Frank and Dena and five brothers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Carroll Deal and Alex Holloway, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. with military honors.
