Shirley Martin

She was born on July 23, 1937 in Manila, AR to the late Claude and Marguerite Owens Deason.

On September 19, 1954 in Hernando, MS she married Billy Martin who preceded her in death on August 25, 2021.

She is survived by one son, Jeff (Karen) Martin of Sikeston, MO; three daughters, Donna (Larry) Layton of Dexter, MO, Cynthia (King) Sidwell of Sikeston, MO and Jill (Mike) McGill of Sikeston, MO; one brother, Robert (Norma) Deason of McMinnville, TN; two sisters, Barbara (Wendell) Williams of Franklin, TN and Janice (James) Falkner of Odessa, FL; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, MO with Evangelist Johnny Hester and Keith Olbricht, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery in Blodgett, MO.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brock Wooley, Adam Martin, Trent Sidwell, Jess Gleason, Benjamin Martin and Clint Gleason.
