Cecilia E. Schiavo

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Cecilia Elia Schiavo of Silver Spring, MD, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years Franco, daughter Cristina and husband Ronald Farley, and brothers Rosario, Cristino, and Vincent Marinucci. Loving mother of Mario Schiavo and Dennis (Monika) Schiavo; cherished grandmother of Lisa (Eric) Lowrey, Michele (Tom) Robb, Michael (Melissa) Farley, and Michael Schiavo; adored great-grandmother of Grace, Nicholas, and Olivia Robb; Luke and Sophia Lowrey; and Jack, Juliana, Ellia, and Luca Farley. She is also survived by her sister Gilda Jamerson and other loving family and friends.

Friends may call at the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Andrew Apostle Catholic Church, 11600 Kemp Mill Rd., Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Interment following Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
