Daniel Sparber, aged 32 of Olney, MD, passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2018. Beloved son of Frank and Monica Sparber, loving brother of Kristina Sparber and David Sparber, and loving uncle of Mia Sparber. He graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School with almost a 4 year perfect attendance record. He was known as a kind, protective, and joyful spirit to people of all generations and cultures that he encountered. A lover of Israel, and a member of its army, he also was a friend to Palestinians with whom he lived and worked. He had an unusually intuitive understanding of things physical and mechanical.
Funeral Services will be held at 10am, Tuesday, October 2, at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904. Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
An open house reception for all will be held at the Sparber residence immediately after burial.
The next day, at 7:30pm, Wednesday, October 3, Shiva (memorial prayers) will be observed at the Sparber residence. All are welcome.
