You would often hear her say, “I love all of my sisters or that is “my good, good girlfriend”. Darlene was kind and generous to all who knew her. She gave by donating generously to her church, to her family, friends, and to numerous charities. She was thankful to God for the ability to give and give freely. She trusted God. (Jeremiah 17:7)
Darlene was a faithful member of Community of Faith United Methodist Church in Clarksburg, MD, (formerly John Wesley). She was a Lay Leader, a member of the Administrative Council, Children’s Ministry, Senior Ministry and host of other committees. One her favorite things to do was to lead worship service. Darlene understood the Word; she shared the Word; and, she lived by the Word. She was an international prayer warrior, filled with the Holy Spirit, and she fully TRUSTED the LORD. (2 Peter 1:2)
