BERKOWITZ, DAVID B. On Thursday, December 1, 2016, David B. Berkowitz, of Columbia, MD. Beloved husband of 54 years to Anne; loving father of Rachel Ives and the late Jonathan Berkowitz; dear brother of Edward Berkowitz and Gail Slobodien (Stanley); cherished grandfather of Madelyn Ives. Also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family members. David is remembered by his family and friends for his generosity, warmth, sense of humor and hearty laugh. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10 am at Columbia Jewish Congregation, The Meeting House, 5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia, MD. Interment to follow at Columbia Memorial Park, Columbia, MD. Family will be receiving friends and observing Shiva following interment services at the Berkowitz residence with Minyan at 7:30 pm.
