Dorothy Pauline Sosinsky Jacobs (Age 87) On Sunday, January 24, 2016, Dorothy P. Jacobs passed away peacefully in the company of her beloved husband of 66 years, Albert, and family. Dorothy was born in the Bronx, NYC in 1928 and graduated from James Monroe HS (in the Bronx). She married Albert on May 29, 1949. Dotty moved to Silver Spring in 1964. She is survived by her husband, two wonderful daughters and sons-in-law, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who were the pride of her life. She was known for her love of life, travel and laughter. Many times she expressed how grateful she was to have such a wonderful life and had no regrets. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Leisure World Interfaith Chapel on Leisure World Boulevard at 2 PM. The burial will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Beth El Cemetery in Paramus, NJ at 2 PM. Shiva will be observed at the Jacobs' home in Leisure World, Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
