Gary King Ager

Gary King Ager was born February 6, 1949 to Muriel and Harry (“Pete”) Ager in Washington, DC. He moved to Silver Spring, Maryland in 1958. He was a talented athlete, playing football and baseball at Springbrook High School. He pursued football at the University of Maryland and earned a Business and Civil Engineering degree. Gary used his education over the next 45 years to serve businesses and governmental agencies with telecommunications expertise in security and fiber optic technologies. He retired in 2016 and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Toni, who he was married to for over 45 years.

Gary is survived by his wife, Toni, son, Stephen (wife Samantha and children, Sophia and Scott) and daughter, Kathleen (husband Michael Schneider and son, Wyatt).

Gary died on February 16, 2026 after a short illness. Donations can be made in Gary’s name to Luther Rice Memorial Baptist Church

A visitation will be held on March 2, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, located at 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904, United States.

The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The committal service will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906, United States, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm on the same day.
