On Monday, June 14, 2021, Joseph George Maron, Sr. of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Regina Hammett Maron and Loretta O'Keefe Maron; father of Joseph G. Maron, Jr., Carol Marie (Christopher) Kohnen, William Andrew Maron (Caroline Park), Patricia Ellen (Bob) Welshon and James Dennis Maron (Beth Cella); brother of the late Andrew "Tinker" (Laura) Maron, Jr., Madeline (William) Ryan, Marie (Wallace) Hoffman, Louise Garson and Frances (William) Fraser; also survived by three grandchildren, Jessica (Paul) Stulich, Dennis Krainer, Jr. (Michaela), and Lauren Nicholas, and two great-grandchildren, Mila Fox Krainer and Brooks Joseph Krainer.
The family will receive friends at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9250 Damascus Road, Damascus, MD on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 11 am until time of Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
