Oriente F Arzadon

Oriente Flores Arzadon died peacefully in her sleep on December 25, 2022. She was 85 years old. She is survived by her husband, younger brother, and younger son. She is preceded by her older son, two brothers, and her parents. After the death of her parents in childhood, this self-made woman finished a Bachelor of Science at the University of the Philippines. She was very proud of becoming the comptroller for a world-renowned, non-profit organization. She did this while raising two sons and being married for 62 years. The tragedy of her life, and in many ways her ultimate triumph, was having to care for her brain-injured son Roy for nearly 40 years after he was only given weeks to live. This inspiring amount of faith, love, and dedication unconditionally wins her a lounge chair by the infinity pool of heaven.

Her friends and family will honor her at a service on January 2, 2023, at 1 pm in the afternoon at The Church of the Resurrection, Catholic Church, at 3315 Greencastle Road, Burtonsville, Maryland 20866. There will be food and drinks afterward.
