Roman Robert Johns

Roman Robert Johns, of Silver Spring, Maryland, unexpectedly departed this life on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Roman was born on May 27, 2019. He is survived by his by his parents Bethany R. and D. Adam Johns, and older brother Kai A. Johns. Roman was a sweet child who loved to laugh and smile. He had just begun to practice sounds and was beginning to learn to say “Mama” and “Dada”. Roman and Kai loved their special chatter across the dinner table. He was eager to learn how to crawl to keep up with his active brother. They also shared a love for tractors toys. Roman was learning to eat with two brand new front teeth. He loved his first fruit, bananas.

Roman will always be cherished by his surviving relatives: Frank and Betty Anderson (maternal great-grandparents); Dolores O’Dell (paternal great-grandmother); Robert and Patti Anderson (maternal grandparents); Gary Collins (paternal grandfather); Renee Henline (paternal Aunt); Naomi and Michael Haines and daughters Hannah and Olivia (Maternal Aunt & Uncle and nieces); and a host of other devoted extended family and friends.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his paternal grandmother Alma Collins.

Visitation services will be held December 20th, 2019 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Oakdale Emory Church 3425 Emory Church Road Olney, Maryland 20832. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 pm at Oakdale Emory Church. For those wishing to give in lieu of flowers, monetary gifts can be received through Oakdale United Methodist Church, 3425 Emory Church Rd, Olney, MD 20832, made out to Bethany and/or Adam Johns
