On 8/12/24, Verna Alexander Woodson of Silver Spring, MD made her Heavenly transition. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Russell Woodson, loving mother of Hillary Woodson Gaskins (Toussaint) and the late Darren Russell Woodson, dear sister of Paula Alexander Wilks (William), cherished grandmother of Felton C Woodson Armstrong III, Savannah I Woodson Reeves, and Asa J Woodson Gaskins. She is also survived by favorite cousin Clyde Swan (Trienne) and children; nephew William Wilks (Ashleigh) and children; and niece Cicely Wilks.
