Edith Wolinsky

Edith Wolinsky, 91, formerly of Morton Grove, beloved wife of the late David Wolinsky. Devoted mother of Samuel (Susan) of Albuquerque, NM, Robert (Carol Joan Avery) of Danville, KY and Ian (and Austin, her grand dog) of Island Lake, IL. Loving grandmother of Stephanie and Steven of Albuquerque, NM and Avery Beau and Benjamin of Danville, Ky. Daughter of the late Isadore and Annie Abrams. Sister of the late Bernard and Idell Abrams, the late Ted and Sheila Abrams, the late Younge Abrams and the late Helen Abrams. Sister-in-law of the late Bernice and Arthur Salzman, the late Nathan and Eileen Wolinsky, and Sylvia and Shim Lawler. Loving aunt to the Abrams and Wolinsky nieces and nephews, caring cousin and friend to many. A women who loved raising her children and feeding family and friends. She gave generously if her time, talent and money to family, friends and philanthropic organizations in the U.S. and around the world. A long-time member of the North West Suburban Jewish Congregation of Morton Grove prior to it's merging with Congregation Bath Shalom in Northbroook. Service Sunday, 10:00 a.m. at the Piser Chapel.
