Christine is survived by her daughter and son-in law Stephen and Amy Noble of Skowhegan Maine, grandsons Michal Noble of Holbrook Mass and Jacob Noble of Rochester NH, granddaughter Taylor McKenney of Peoria AZ, brothers Lawrence (Randy) Rollins and Russ Rollins of Sebec and Winslow Maine and sisters Eileen (Joanie) Pulkkinen and Jeanne Knowles of Jonesport and Abbot Maine. She is preceded in death by her husband David Michael McKenney, her son Michael Alan McKenney, her mother Joanne Priest of Abbot Maine, her in-laws Charles and Evelyn McKenney of Cambridge, Maine, her brother Kenneth (Chuck) Rollins of Abbot Maine and her niece Tiffany Knowles of Abbot, Maine.
Christine was born on April 27th in Dover Foxcroft and married her high school sweetheart in 1964. After devoting herself to raising her two children, Christine fulfilled a lifetime dream of opening the Wayside Bed and Breakfast in Parkman, Maine. Little did she know that her third and final career as a unit coordinator at Mayo Regional Hospital would bring her and so many others such comfort and joy.
A funeral is scheduled for September 29 at The Federated Church in Skowhegan, Maine at 1:00 pm, with a reception to follow. Reverend Mark Tanner will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Christine’s life. There is much to celebrate!
