He was born in England on September 7, 1929 and immigrated to the USA in 1956.
He is survived by his wife Edna of 64 years of Skowhegan; his son Wesley and his wife Norma of Bradford, Maine; his grandson Jonathan and his granddaughter Jennifer and her husband Jesse Waltman; two great-grandchildren Oscar and Aurora and Wesley is on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends and family may visit for a time of remembrance from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
