

She was born January 4, 1937 in Skowhegan, Maine, the daughter of Edgar J. Pelletier and Phyllis (Cowette) Pelletier.
She was educated in Skowhegan area schools where she was prom queen, a cheerleader, football queen, was voted most popular and she graduated in the class of 1954.
Jeanine married Alexis M. Casey Sr. on September 1, 1956, in Skowhegan, Maine, he passed away in July of 2007.
She had many jobs over the years, but most of her life was spent being devoted to her family as a wife and mother of ten children.
Jeanine was a devoted member of the Catholic Church, a member of Respect Life, and a participant in 40 Days for life. She loved to go camping, enjoyed bird hunting and fishing with her husband, doing puzzles and playing cards. She liked to be current on today’s politics and current events.
She is survived by her ten children, Mark and wife Ophie, James and wife Madeleine, Duane and wife Judy, Rick and wife Debi, Alexis and wife Lisa, Shawn and companion Barb, Tim, Tom and companion Misty, Patrick and wife Jean, Mary and companion Mike; her siblings, Robert and wife Gloria Pelletier, Francis and wife Gloria Pelletier and Charlene and husband Eugene Carey; 34 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son Robert, and her brother Ronnie Pelletier.
Viewing hours will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Smart and Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, Water St., Skowhegan, Maine. Burial will be held in the spring at the Calvary Cemetery in Skowhegan.
