

She was born March 7, 1931 in Canada, the daughter of Godfroy Chamberland and Marie-Anna (Poulin) Chamberland.
She married Wilbrod Rousseau on August 29, 1953 in Skowhegan, he died December 10, 2006. They lived in Connecticut for 30 years and moved back to Maine in 1983.
During her working years she worked at Lee Spring Company and later worked for New Balance in Norridgewock where she retired from in the mid-nineties.
She enjoyed bowling in a bowling league in Connecticut, she loved to work, she would help anyone who needed help and she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her brother Emery Chamberland of East Madison, her sister-in-law Evangeline Chamberland of Cornville, her brother-in-law Patrick Rousseau and his wife Jeanne of Connecticut, her sister-in-law Fleurette Allen of Connecticut, her sister-in-law Micheline Lapointe and her husband Doris of Canada, several nieces and nephews, a special niece Suzanne Spencer.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Wilbrod Rousseau, her sister Denise (Chamberland) Spencer, her brother Edouard Chamberland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, Water St., Skowhegan, Maine.
