Such sad news.   I’m so sorry to hear about Scott’s passing.  We were classmates at Scituate HS.  He was always such a nice guy.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.  Rest In Peace Scott 💙💙

My heart breaks to hear of the passing of Scott.  We were classmates at Scituate HS.  He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, friendliness and being an all around great guy. Coincidentally we ran into each other in a bar at UMaine Orono in 1987 when I was visiting a friend. 
My very tall friend helped me navigate a very crowded place.   We later reconnected on Facebook because of a mutual tie to the Merchant Marine industry.  He loved what he did and he did it well.   May he rest in peace with his loved ones that have gone before him. Rest in peace Scott.  Forever in our hearts. 

I am saddened to hear of Scott's passing. He was an absolutel sweetheart in high school with such a kind heart. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.  Rest in peace 💛

I am so sorry to hear of Scott’s passing. I remember his good nature and ready smile. Sending my good thoughts to his dear friends and family.

 Quite saddened to hear of Scott’s passing was always glad to see him when he showed up to hang out with Bobby .Scott was always friendly and polite .

Incredibly sad to hear this news.  Scott was a very sweet kid, larger than life and full of laughter.  My condolences to his family.  RIP in Boardie. 

Sincere condolences go out to Scott's family.  We went to high school together, and some of my best memories, and funniest stories involve Scott, or Boardie as we knew him, and the things we all did together as kids.  As Bobby said, he always had a youthful spirit and was intensely loyal.  I love those days and the fun we had together.  Scott, I hope you are at peace, with a following sea and fare winds. You were larger than life and full of energy. You will not be forgotten.

Just heard the very sad news of a great friend during our teens and twenties.  Have many great memories of Scott and his great sense of humor and adventure.

Scott is survived by his parents; sons Nicholas Boardman of Norridgewalk, Jonathan Boardman of Madison, Shawn Boardman of Madison; brother Mark Boardman of Falmouth, Massachusetts; sister Anna Boardman of Norfolk, Virginia.


He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joanne Boardman and brother Stephen Boardman.
