2/22/93 – 5/18/11
I don’t know how to say good bye to Ben, the light of my life. I don’t know how to describe what an amazing person Ben had become. I can tell you stories about how funny he was, how gorgeous he was from the moment of his birth and that he had become an incredibly giving and gracious young man. I could describe his love of his friends, music, football, surfing and other sports. I could describe his absolute love of traveling, and the number of places we had been and the places we planned to visit. I could describe the ease with which he told someone they were important to him, his way with little kids, his ability to talk to just about anybody. I could tell you about his amazing eye behind a camera lens or the way in which he could tell as story. I could tell you about how smart he was, how incredible his ability to see the details in things. I could tell you about his mannerisms and smiles when he was excited about something. I could tell you…..
None of that is enough. In fact, no words will ever be adequate. He was the love of my life.
He leaves behind an extensive circle of family and friends. We invite the LSHS community to join Ben’s family in a Celebration of Life, being held at the Lake Stevens High School PAC. The celebration will be Wednesday May 25th at 6 p.m.
In lieu of any flowers, the very best gift you could ever give is to send us written stories of Ben (address is Beth Adolphsen, 303 – 91st Avenue NE, Ste #E502, Box 220, Lake Stevens, WA 98258). There are two donation ideas - Ben loved the radio station C89.5 FM, KNHC, because it played great music and it is a student run station out of a local high school. Their website is http://c895worldwide.com/web/. Ben loved animals and we regularly contributed to many local and national animal charities.
Love ya B!
Arrangements under the direction of Bauer Funeral Chapel, Snohomish, WA.
