Dorothy is survived by her son, Rick (Nina) Self, and her brother, Robert (Vicky); granddaughter, Paula (John) Pendergass; grandson, Erick Wilcox; step grandchildren, Jennifer and Travis; and eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fredrick; daughter, Lindy Miller, sister Peggy; and brothers Donald, Jerry and Richard Holt.
Dorothy had a passion for gardening, cooking and needlework. She took pride in always having fresh homemade rolls for every occasion to the delight of all. Dorothy was the unofficial family historian and always had a tale to tell.
Dorothy was born in Tacoma Washington and began her journey moving north to Seattle, Ferndale, rural Everett until she made her final home of more than 28 years in Snohomish.
