Kurt LeRoy Berglin, 62, died suddenly on Sunday, January 5th at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 31, 1952 in Everett, WA. Kurt was raised on the Snohomish River and also spent the final days of his life on the river. Kurt graduated from Snohomish High School, Class of 1971. He lived a life working on the farm, fishing, and raising his two daughters. In his adult years he worked for the city of Monroe, until his back got the best of him. Kurt is survived by his loving wife Carla, daughters Jessica Welcome (Jesse) and Brenna Berglin, sisters Kathy Rhoades (Rick) and Kim McCoy-Berglin, granddaughters Scarlett Rose Welcome and Lila Jean Welcome, nieces and nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernie and LaVerne Berglin, beloved in-laws Bill and Alice Romanick, and brother-in-law Dean Romanick. Goodbye Kurt, you will always be in our hearts.
