Its been over six years since I've seen and studied pottery with larry, he was always such a gentle caring man.  I have always loved art and Larry helped me find my medium, for that I will remember and be thankful to him.

I met Larry in 2006, shortly after getting sober. I was restless, irritable and discontent, as they say.  I had always had  a little interest in learning to throw pottery.  Larry was so supportive and gentle with me. He took the time to  teach and care for me in a very difficult time. As the years rolled on and I became proficient at making basic forms he inspired  me to learn difficult processes like throwing multi clay forms and bold glazing techniques such as mochaware.  Larry was my teacher, my hero and my lifelong friend. I Love him and will never forget his lifesaving gifts to me.
