Michael Edwin Cockbain, born April 6, 1941 in Norfolk, England, passed away on January 26, 2015 in Snohomish, Washington. A cabinetmaker, Michael was an accomplished carpenter who could never fully retire. He was actively involved in the Snohomish Garden Club, Eastside Fuchsia Society, and volun-teered in the Snohomish Community Garden. He enjoyed both playing and coaching soccer, golf, and gardening, and spending time with his loving family and friends. Michael is survived by Janet, his wife of 51 years; daughters, Helen and Debra; siblings; Rosa, John, Brian, Kathleen, David, and Sheila. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bauer Funeral Chapel in Snohomish. A celebration honoring Michael's life will follow at the Snohomish Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army.
