

Vera graduated from Snohomish High School in 1961. Her focus of studies was cosmetology
Vera married Bob Eddy in 1961 and together they built their current home on Lord Hill in 1963. Vera was a youth soccer coach for several years, having coached each of her three children. Vera owned and operated Snohomish Floral for 17 years. Her skills at flower arranging brought her repeat customers from across the country.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob. She is survived by her daughters Cindy Eddy-Thompson (Mike) and Cheryl Eddy (Reggie); son Rick Eddy (Coby); grandchildren: Beth (Devon), Alex & Austin; great-grandchildren: Lacy, Reese, Josiah and Lola; sisters-in-law Ginger Eddy and Jan Aalbu (Larry); and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at the GAR Cemetery in Snohomish on November 9 at 1 PM.
The family wishes to thank her caregivers and the many workers of Providence Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County for the care and compassion shown Vera and family the last several weeks of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Providence Hospice & Home Care and/or St. Jude's.
