Albert J. Benedetti, 96, of Camillus, passed away Thursday at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Warners, he was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was employed by Allied Chemical as a crane operator for 43 years before retiring in 1978.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, the former Irene Papaleoni, 2 daughters; Susan Brewer, of Solvay and Mary (Steve) Kyryk, of PA, 2 sons; Richard, of NC and Mark (Deborah), of W. VA, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:15 am Monday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay, and 9 am at St Cecilia Church, Solvay, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are from 1 to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Avenue.
