

Anna (Papaleoni) Crowningshield, 90, of Solvay, passed away Wednesday May 1, 2013 at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Solvay to the late Severino and Maria (Cadonna) Papaleoni. She worked for many years at Syracuse China and Central Square School District until retiring in 1985 and she was a longtime communicant of St. Cecilia Church. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald in 1980.
She is survived by a daughter; Amy (Mickey) Spanfelner, of Fayetteville, 2 sons; Craig, of Solvay and Keith (Audrey), of Denville, NJ, 5 grandchildren; Aaron, Joshua, Ryan, Patrick and Emma, 4 great grandchildren; Rio, RJ, Lilly and Alicia, 3 sisters; Edith Werbeck, of Geddes, Alyce Kin, of CA and Irene Benedetti, of Camillus, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, at 8:15 am in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, and at 9:00 am in St. Cecilia Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Private burial will follow in Union Settlement Cemetery, West Monroe.
