Barbara C. Tarolli

Barbara (Campbell) Tarolli, 87, of Solvay, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1st. Barbara was born in Syracuse on March 4, 1927 to the late Frank and Catherine (Osborne) Campbell. She lived in Mattydale until she met and married her husband of 63 years, Rudy Tarolli. They lived their lives and raised their family in Solvay. They shared a love of golf and were members of Tuscarora Golf Club for many years, where they developed many wonderful and lasting friendships. But in all that they did and shared together, their family was at the core of everything. Their home was the favorite gathering place for their children and grandchildren and was filled with much laughter and love. Barbara will always be remembered for her kind spirit, warm heart, and her genuine love of her family and friends. She is predeceased by her sisters Vivian and Katherine.

She is survived by her husband Rudy; her daughters Lynnette (Tom) Pavente, Karen (Archie) Hotchkiss, and Lori Gravelle; grandchildren Stacie (Jonathan) Fitzgerald, Jill (Dan) Palinkas, Amanda (Patrick) Janes, and Cailee (Peter) Garm; seven great grandchildren Aidan, Logan, Arianna, Ava, Catherine, Mason, and Emery; and brothers Fred and Bruce Campbell.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 pm Thursday, September 4, 2014 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am Friday, September 5, 2014 at the funeral home with entombment to follow in St. Mary’s Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse 13204 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (one of Barbara’s favorite charities), 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
