David M. Pozzi, 47, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday Feb. 12th at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Davey was a heavy equipment mechanic and painter at Orchard Earth and Pipe for 9 years. He was a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club, the MVPA and enjoyed collecting and restoring military vehicles. He was a member of the Baldwinsville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s witnesses. Davey truly enjoyed helping out family and friends in need.
He is survived by his wife, the former Debra Cavallaro, 2 children; Bradley and Marissa, of Lakeland, his mother; Margie (Leonard) Adams, of Syracuse, his father; David F. (Colleen) Pozzi, of Lakeland, 2 sisters; Andrea (Charlie) Mattes, of Cicero and Danielle Pozzi-Rey, of Liverpool, 4 brothers; Curt (Celeste), of Van Buren, Dann, of Lafayette, Tyler, of Van Buren and Jason, of Lakeland, 6 nieces and nephews; Antonio, Carlie, Franki, Chloe, Samantha and Joey, and many aunts and uncles.
Services will be conducted at 9:30 am Thursday Feb. 17th in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday Feb. 16th at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave.
