Ernest Campagnoni, 88, of Jordan, passed away Tuesday in Buffalo. Born in Solvay, he lived in Jordan for many years. He was a US Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II. Ernest was a painter and wallpaper designer for over 45 years before retiring in 1986. He was predeceased by a son, Robert in 1977.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Agnes Malecki, a daughter; Sandy (Joe) Moyer, of Amherst, a daughter-in-law; Frances Campagnoni, 4 grandchildren; John (Malerie), Michael, Eryne and Adam, 3 great-grandchildren; Sarah, John and Wendy Rose, a sister; Rosemarie Bangnoski, 2 brothers; Robert and William, a sister-in-law; Jane Kenyon and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 am Saturday in St. Cecilia Church, Solvay. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Friday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.
