Mr. Frederick Paventi

Frederick Paventi, 92, of Geddes, passed away Friday at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Solvay, he was a graduate of Solvay High School. Employed by Carrier Corporation for 35 years, he retired as a Supervisor in 1977. Mr. Paventi was an avid gardener and enjoyed photography, but family, friends, church and Carrier were his treasure. He was past president and secretary of First Christian Assembly Church and a member of the Carrier Management and Retiree’s Club’s. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lucy (Opera) in 1973, second wife Josephine (Cefaratti) in 2007 and a sister, Mindy Chiavara.

He is survived by 3 sons; Nicholas (Janice), of Camillus, Samuel (Caren), of Camillus and Paul (Linda Beerman), of Cape Vincent, 1 sister; Caroline Stagnitta, of N. Syracuse, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday August 17th at 10 am in Grace Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Charles Semple officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Monday August 16th at Grace Assembly of God Church, 4220 Fay Rd., Syracuse, NY 13219. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME has care of arrangements.
