

Grace E. (Harrington) Tyler, 87, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Boston, MA, she lived in Syracuse most of her life. Grace was a hostess at the Holiday Inn, both Syracuse and Baldwinsville, and was a waitress at Bellevue Country Club before retiring. She was an avid bowler, NY Yankee and SU basketball fan. She bowled in the Solvay Senior League and was a 2001 Gold Medal winner for bowling in the Empire State Senior Games. Grace was predeceased by her parents, Ira and Bessie Aldrich.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dexter, a daughter; Sharon Benedetti, of N Syracuse, a son; Ronald (Bonnie) Tyler, of Camillus, 5 grandchildren; Kim Benedetti, of Solvay, Kara (Ryan) Conway, of Dallas, TX, David Benedetti, of Solvay, Lisa (Hootan) Zandifar, of Los Angeles, CA and Eric (April) Tyler, of Syracuse, 5 great grandchildren; Jordan Walawender, of Solvay, Carter and Dylan Conway, of Dallas, TX, Caiden Zandifar, of Los Angeles and Aubrey Tyler, of Syracuse.
Family and friends may call Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 1 to 4 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave. Funeral services and burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park are private.
