James Fagliarone, 76, of Estero, FL, passed away Friday April 1st in Bonita Springs, FL. Born to Vincenzo and Vittoria Fagliarone, James resided in Syracuse most of his life before retiring to Florida. He was employed by Romano Oldsmobile and J & T Automotive for many years before retiring in 1996. As a lifelong musician, he played with many bands over the years, including the Bonita Springs Village Band while in Florida. James was a past member of First Christian Assembly Church in Syracuse.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Madeline DeFabbio, a daughter; Marisa Fagliarone, of Liverpool, 2 sons; Vincent (Karen), of Estero, FL and Robert, of London, UK, 3 grandchildren; Candice Lopez, of Naples, FL, Christa and Jacob Fagliarone, of Estero, FL, 2 great-grandchildren; Michael and Chase Lopez, of Naples, FL, 1 brother; Robert Fagliarone, of FL and Skaneateles, 4 sisters; Carmela Fagliarone, of Syracuse, Mary Chiarello, of Red Bank, NJ, Lucy Rautenberg, of N Syracuse and Barbara Moleski, of Syracuse and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday April 7th in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday April 6th at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.
