

Lolly Mazzochi, 75, of Lakeland, passed away Thursday at Francis House. She was born in Syracuse to the late Guido and Mary (DeGennaro) Alberti. Lolly was a clerk in the Transportation Department for the Syracuse City School District for over 25 years before retiring in 2001. She also loved working at BonTon as a gift wrapper. Her greatest passion was cooking for her family and attending all of her grandchildren’s functions.
She is survived by her daughter; Marie Perkins, of Onondaga Hill, a son; Ruggero (Sheryl) Mazzocchi, of Solvay, 5 grandchildren; Danielle and Gina Perkins, Cassidy, Adam and Ein Tanzella, a sister; Mary Rose Rogers, of NH, and many nieces nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9 am in Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God Mission, corner of Geddes and Wilkinson Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd. Solvay. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 1 to 4 pm Sunday, at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
