Mae H. (Hunter) Liedkie

Mae H. (Hunter) Liedkie, 94, of Lakeland, passed away Friday November 8, 2013 at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Cooperstown to the late James and Bertha (Eggelston) Hunter and lived most her life in Oneonta before moving to Lakeland in 1989. Mae retired as a buyer for Bresee Department Store in Oneonta following 33 years of service. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed travelling to NYC to buy for the store. She was also a cat lover. Mae was predeceased by her daughter, Paula Coughlin in 2011.

She is survived by a daughter; Susan (Stephen) Nagen, of Lakeland, 2 grandchildren; Meredith and Michelle, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Monday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
