Vivian Rose (Gorski) Maggiore

Vivian Rose (Gorski) Maggiore, 89, of Lakeland, passed away Tuesday, August 18 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Mattydale to the late Boleslaw and Stephania (Maczonis) Gorski in 1926. She was a finisher at Syracuse China for over 15 years. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Church in Lakeland. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Robert A. in 2014, her brother, Walter Gorski and sister, Jennie Grabowski.

She is survived by a son; Robert J. (Geri), of Lakeland, 2 daughters; Debra (Chuck) Bartlett, of N. Syracuse and Cindy Maggiore, of Lakeland, 5 grandchildren; Carrie (Rob) Mason, Ginger (Dan) Holleran, Robert C. Maggiore, Ashley (Chris) Loman and Alyssa Bartlett, 5 great-grandchildren, sister; Helen Wellwood, of Lancaster, PA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 8:45 am Friday, August 21, 2015 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
