Born in Providence, RI the son of the late Oswald G. and Cora (Luther) Ingham he was a resident of Barrington for 47 years before relocating to Somerset for the past 10 years.
A graduate of Hope High School in Providence he began a career as a machinist at Grinnell Industries and retired from Texas Instruments after 20 years in 1986.
A skilled handy man, he enjoyed fixing things and helping people any way he could. An avid sports fan he loved to play baseball with his son and watch the Boston Celtics, Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Mr. Ingham was an animal lover and he looked forward to going out to eat to dine on his favorite dish of Scallops but he mostly enjoyed time spent with his wife and family. He will be remembered for his kindness, smile and laugh.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Wayne Ingham and his wife Diane Mcluen of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Jerilyn Ingham of Dartmouth and one grandson, Christopher Correia.
His arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, Somerset and are private. Contributions in his honor may be made to The Animal Rescue League, 31 Ventura Drive, Dartmouth, MA 02747.
