I was a shipmate of Doug’s on the cutter Bibb out of New Bedford from 1979-1983. It was before I was transferred to another Coast Guard unit and before Doug and Ann were married when met her. I could immediately tell how much in love they were. Later, when I stationed on another ship out of Boston, Doug and Ann would invite me to their house for weekends. Ann was such an enduring person. They always made me feel at home. It is with deepest sympathies to Doug and her family. God’s blessings. RIP Ann.

Doug, I am so sorry for your loss. Ann was a really good person. I used to work with her at N.B.I.S. Taunton Green Operations Dept. She was my supervisor and a good one. She loved to bake and was always bring in little treats for everyone. She was very loving and caring to those around her.

I’m beyond heartbroken at the loss of my friend Ann!! 😢 We have been friends since middle school, and had a lot of laughs and fun over the years. She had a heart of gold, and smile from ear to ear. ❤️ Hugs and prayers to her husband Doug; and her many family and friends who will miss her always! 😇
