Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda (Quental) Pavao. A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, she earned her associate’s degree at Bristol Community College. She also attended the University of Massachusetts and Assumption College where she earned her master’s degree.
Corinne worked for 26 years as a dedicated social worker for the state of Massachusetts in the Department of Children and Family Services prior to her retirement in 2014. She loved all animals and getting together and spending time with friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Jocelyn Mendonsa of Somerset; sister-in-law, Mary Pavao of Dartmouth; one grandson, Logan Mendonsa of TX and one great-granddaughter, Rosemary. She was the grandmother of the late Tyler Mendonsa, sister of the late Dennis Pavao and aunt of the late Ryan and Amanda Pavao.
