Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late James and Mabel Pedder. He was a graduate of Diman Vocational High School of Fall River, Ma. Bob was employed by Raytheon as a design engineer until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time perfecting his golf game, playing the banjo and harmonica. He loved being surrounded by friends and family, especially his three grandchildren and newest member of the family his great-grandson, Liam.
He was the father of the late Robert L. Pedder, Jr, and survived by his daughter Wendy Montella and her husband Christopher Montella. His grandchildren, Jonathan R. Langfield, Amanda Langfield and fiancé Jared Walsh, Daniel Langfield and his wife Lauren, great-grandson Liam Robert Walsh.
