Jimmy Dale Foley Jimmy Dale Foley was called to his Heavenly home following a long illness due to heart disease. Jimmy was born May 25, 1946 at Herndon, WV to the late Sam Foley and Melba Mills Dempsey. He worked 29 years for Black Diamond Power Company at Sophia, WV and was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He was a member of the Midway First Church of God and taught adult Sunday school class; was a Sunday School Superintendant and served on the Board of Trustees. Survivors include his wife, Lucy of 48 years; 2 daughters, Diane Wine and friend, Roger of Sophia, Christi Payne (Daniel) of North Carolina; son, Travis Foley (Pam) of Crab Orchard; 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; sister, Tammy Powers (Jim); 3 brothers, Timmy Foley and friend, Danese, Eddie Foley and Dusty Foley (Missy). Jimmy is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Presti. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Williams Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia with Pastor John Scarbro and Pastor Rick Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Dancy Cemetery in Coal City. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may gather with the family Sunday from 1 – 3 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations of sympathy be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV 25801.
