AJ, a devoted husband and loving father, leaves behind the love of his life and wife, Stephanie, as well as his pride and joy, his son Erik, his loving mother Diana, and his brother Arthur. As he begins his next journey, he is followed by the love of family, friends, neighbors, and the many lives he touched along the way.
AJ was born in Chelsea, MA. He moved to New Bedford with his family in ’87, where he was raised. Just like his father, he had such a magnetic personality. He was a knowledge seeker and spent many days learning and teaching himself new skills. He was an avid gamer and lover of anything nerdy, most often spending time playing Magic: The Gathering with his brother, son, and valued friends. He could always be observed listening and singing along to his favorite songs.
AJ was taught early on that all a man had was his word. He prided himself on being honest and doing the right thing. He valued his family above all and worked extremely hard for them. His work ethic was unrivaled by any. AJ would go above and beyond for a neighbor in need or stop on the side of the road to help a stranger, carrying a smile and a wave for everyone he met, much like his father.
AJ’s work ethic was built during his time working with his family at their business, Blue Eagle Printing. The many days spent working with his mother, father, and brother were some of his fondest memories and provided the structure for the man he became. He spent his time working hard to become a computer programmer in his later years, spending countless hours learning and perfecting his craft.
AJ was a once-in-a-lifetime individual. He will be sorely missed and his memories cherished but remember—he would want to be remembered fondly, with a smile and a laugh. Please join us as we celebrate AJ’s life, his memory, and that stunning smile.
