Denne Carol-Ann DeMello

January 15, 1945 - January 24, 2024

Denne (Burns) DeMello, 79 , of South Dartmouth,passed away peacefully on January 24,2024 at home after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, Ma, she was the daughter of the late Leonard J. and Elizabeth (Szarek) Burns.

Denne was a graduate of Dartmouth High School.

As the co-owner of NBC Distributors, she worked closely with David her husband of 58 years.

As an ocean lover she enjoyed her home on the beach,spending time in Florida living on the boat and vacationing to Jamaica. She was an avid reader and gardener. As a member of the “Breakfast Club “and “Garden Club “ she looked forward to spending time with her dear friends. A lover of all animals, she especially enjoyed her horse George who she competed in Dressage shows with.

Denne was a beautiful and loving wife, mother and grandmother who always lived life with cheerfulness, resilience , determination and kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to be in her presence.

She is survived by her beloved husband David;her loving daughter Kristine A. Rogers and her life partner Vittorio L. Lemos; grandson Clayton C. Rogers and his partner Serina Saucier. She was the loving mother of the late Ian S. DeMello.
