Barbara F. Page

Barbara Frank Page, of South Yarmouth, Ma. Formally of East Dennis, and Lexington, Ma. died November 8, 2014. Loving and faithful wife of Harold “Hal” Page, for 53 years. Devoted Mother to Andrew E. Page of Acton, MA, Katherine P. Colella and her husband Robert of Springfield VA, and Barbara P. Susi and her husband Edward of Medway, Ma. Cherished and loved “Nanny” to Allison and Sam Colella, of Springfield, VA, and Katy and Jimmy Susi of Medway, MA. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Frank. Predeceased by sister Estelle Frank Hawes, and brother Paul W. Frank Jr.

Barbara was born in Delanco, NJ in 1932 and graduated from Burlington County High School. From there she went on to her beloved Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pa. Barbara was a pioneer in the education of children with special needs. She was a teacher in one of the first classes for special needs students in Florence, New Jersey.

As a resident for 30 years of Lexington, MA, she was a dedicated member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, where she served on many committees. She was a Campfire Girl Leader, room-mother, substitute teacher and avid tennis player.

She retired to Dennis Ma, where she was an active member of the Northside Methodist Church, the “Dennis Niners” golf club, South Yarmouth tennis club, and the Mid Cape Tennis club. She loved baking, crossword puzzles, mahjongg and walking the woods and beaches of Dennis with her dogs.

Services will be private at family’s request.
