Born on March 29, 1924, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Addison Cooke and Alice (Whiteley) Armstrong. She was a graduate of the Mary Burnham School in Northampton, MA.
In 1942, she married Maynard J. Lippmann of Holyoke, MA, in Nashville, TN. The couple raised their family in Holyoke, MA until 1974, when they moved to Cape Cod.

Beverly was an avid reader and in her later years enjoyed books on tape from the Perkins School for the Blind. She was a lifelong fan of tennis and the Boston Red Sox. She would often spend warm summer days on Smuggler’s Beach. More than anything, she cherished the time that she shared with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Maynard J. Lippmann.
She is survived by her daughters, Holly Trevisan and her husband, Nello of Orleans, MA, Robin Shanahan and her husband, William of Bristol, VT; her grandsons, Jonathan Trevisan and his wife, Tanya of Duxbury, MA, Jason Trevisan and his wife, Karen of Sudbury, MA, Jordan Shanahan of Bozeman, MT, Will P. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
