Damian was born on May 6,1974 in Hyannis MA, the beloved son of Shane and Barbara Peros. He attended Wilbraham and Monson Academy and graduated from Dennis Yarmouth High School. He attended Lynchburg College in Virginia.
Damian's entrepreneurial spirit took him to many parts of the country. He opened a food truck in San Diego, a mortgage broker business in Minnesota, and was currently working at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston (in patient services for the cardiovascular department).
Damian will be remembered as a kind, caring, gentle spirit, who always was there for anyone who needed him. He loved animals and people alike, and his smile, laughter, sense of humor, and loyalty to friends and family will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Damian is survived by his brother Shane, his wife Jacquie, and his niece Isabella who was the “light of his life”, all of NYC. Also survived by aunts and uncles James and Peggy Peros of Ft. Myers, FL, and James and Mary Crosi of Belleville IL. Damian was predeceased by his grandparents James and Kay Peros, and Mary and Edward Starke. He leaves many cousins and friends whose memories and stories will keep his spirit ever present.
Damian’s wake will be held on Monday, January 31st, 4-7 p.m., at Doane, Beal, and Ames on Rte. 134 in South Dennis, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 1st at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Chapel on Summer Street in Yarmouth Port, MA. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery on Summer Street in Yarmouth Port, MA.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Damian’s memory to the Dana Farber - Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Pl., 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445; the MSPCA-Angell, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130; The Salvation Army, 1500 Washington St., Boston, MA 02118 or a charity of one’s choice.
