Faustina L. Cote

She was born on November 8, 1928, in Providence, RI, to Donald Anthony Tiffany and Faustina (Haines) McAvoy. She graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers, NY in 1946. On September 3, 1949, she married Rene Roger Cote in Pawcatuck, CT.

The former owner of Nostalgia and Dove Cottage Antiques, Nina loved her cats and traveling around to antique shows. She was a longtime member of the New England Appraisers Association.

She was predeceased by her parents; a grandson, Winslow Gilman; son-in-law, Guy Bourdeau; and her sister, Elizabeth Blazer.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Rene Roger Cote of Dennisport; her son Roger D. Cote of Princeton, NJ; her daughters, Denise Bachand and her husband, Edward of Canterbury, CT, Renee S. Bourdeau of Lugoff, SC; as well as two grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the State of Connecticut Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT, on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00 am
