Jane C. Grant

Jane C. Grant, 89, South Dennis died peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Mayflower Place Nursing Center in West Yarmouth. She was born in Ashland, grew up in Framingham and raised her family in Lynn before retiring to the Cape in the 1970’s.

Jane worked for General Electric (GE) in Lynn, MA for several years and before retirement worked as a housekeeper.

Jane is survived by sons: Tom Grant of Yarmouth Port and his girlfriend Sheila Buckley, son Mark Grant and wife Margaret of East Dennis and grandchildren Dillon and Marisa. She is also survived by a sister Joyce Stratton of Saugus, MA and a brother Arthur B. Clements of Lynn, MA.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13th at Grace Church of East Dennis followed by a reception at the church. Burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn, MA will follow the church reception.
