Joey Niessink

Stoneham – Joseph J. Niessink, 32, formerly of Cohasset and Dennis, died unexpectedly on Oct. 21, 2016 at his parents’ home. Born on June 29, 1984 in Boston. He grew up in Cohasset, MA and enjoyed summers in Dennis, MA. He graduated from Cohasset High School and attended Massasoit Community College for two years. While he worked various jobs throughout his life, his final one was delivering beds to hospitals throughout New England. He loved hockey and played for the Cohasset Varsity Team. As an avid fan of The Bruins he never missed a game. Joe was the son of Jan & Deborah and is survived by 3 siblings, Karen from Brooklyn, NY, Kristin from Newport, RI, and Jessica from Cohasset, MA as well as 2 nieces & a nephew. His easygoing nature and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. and a Celebration of Life on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Rt. 134, South Dennis, MA 02660.
