Laura "Laurie" Brogan Sethares

After battling a short illness of cancer, Laura Brogan Sethares, 61, of Hyannis passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at McCarthy Care Center. She was born in Newton, MA to the late Robert Edward & Rose Marie (England) Brogan.

Prior to her illness Laurie worked in healthcare for several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Laurie is predeceased by her beloved son James "Corey" Brogan (2004). She is survived by her loving husband Nicholas Carlton Sethares; her dear brother Robert Edward Brogan of Hyannis, MA; her cherished sisters Marsha Brogan of Hyannis, MA, Patricia Catherine Mulligan of New Bedford, MA & Heidi of California; her dear sister-in-law Linda Caruso (and her husband Michael Caruso) of Bass River, MA. Laurie is also survived by her 3 adored grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 12pm to 2pm at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home 729 MA-134 S. Dennis, MA 02660. A Funeral Prayer Service will be at 1:30pm held during visitation with committal service to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery South Dennis, MA.
