Lorraine R Eaton

Lorraine was born September 24, 1933 and was a lifelong resident of Dennis. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Wesley B. Eaton. She was a great supporter of the Dennis Police and Fire Departments and the U.S. Coast Guard. She was well known for her beautiful gardens and delicious chocolate chip cookies.

Lorraine was a devoted wife and mother and is survived by her son, Brad Eaton, and daughters, Bonnie Hutchinson and Joyce MacNayr. She also leaves two sisters, Nancy DeDominicus and Beverly Hazen, and was predeceased by her brother, Ben Hudson. Lorraine had 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Known for her cheerful disposition and entertaining stories, everyone also knew that Lorraine was "built tough like a Chevy truck". Lorraine/Mom/Grammy a/k/a "The Cookie Lady" was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends may visit with Lorraine's family on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 10-11 am at the Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Rt. 134, South Dennis. A brief service will be held at 11 am followed by interment at Swan Lake Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Lorraine's family requests donations be made to the Dennis Fire Department.
